How long does setup take?

The initial setup visit is 90 minutes. We'll configure everything while you're there, and you'll leave with full knowledge of how to manage settings yourself.

Can my child get around the settings?

We configure Screen Time with industry best practices that make circumvention very difficult. However, determined teenagers may find workarounds — we discuss realistic expectations during setup.

What if I want to change settings myself?

You absolutely can. We teach you everything during setup. The weekly insights help you understand the impact of changes, and we're available for adjustment visits if you need guidance.

Is my family's data secure?

Accepted Answer

We take children's data seriously. The screenshots you send us are used to generate your reports and are retained for up to three months, then deleted. We process the data using Anthropic's Claude; we do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to data brokers. Our privacy policy sets out retention periods, the processors we use, and how to request deletion at any time.

Who will visit my home, and are they checked?

All visits are conducted by Myk, the founder. A parent or guardian stays present throughout the visit, and safeguarding is built into the service design. Paid in-home visits are only confirmed once the required checks, insurance, and safeguarding steps are in place.

We provide in-home setup visits throughout Berkhamsted and Hertfordshire. Remote consultation is available for ongoing support.
